San Diego des de Coronado コロナドからのサン·ディエゴ

Vam anar a fer una rutilla per San Diego, que està a una hora i deu en cotxe d'on visc. Va ser el primer trajecte mitjanament llarg que he fet amb el meu cotxe (que és asombrosament épic). És aquest: 

We went on a little trip to San Diego, which is an hour an ten minutes by car away from where I live. It's the first kind of long trip I've done with my new car (which is awesomely épic). It is this one:

Us sona? Potser l'heu vist com l'esclafen a moltes pel·lícules. És un cotxe de policia, ni més ni menys. El Police Interceptor. Potser no sembla gran cosa des de fora, però el fars per les perseguir als "cacos" m'encanten, i probablement sigui el cotxe més potent que em compri en molt de temps.

Looks familiar? Maybe you've seen how they crash it in movies. It's a cop car. The Police Interceptor. May not look great from the outside, but I love the lights to chase the bad guys, and it'll probably be the most powerful car I'll buy in a while.

Però tornant el tema de San Diego; després de visitar uns quants llocs de la ciutat, vam anar a Coronado, que és una mena d'illa que hi ha just al davant del moll i que s'hi pot arribar mitjançant un pont. Al tornar, però, ens vam perdre i, quan ens en vam adonar, estàvem en una autopista en direcció a Mèxic i a molt poques milles de la frontera. Per sort estic al pais del món on és més fàcil fer un canvi de sentit, de manera que no em vaig trobar amb la situació d'arribar a una aduana com aquella sense passaport (que estava a casa). Aquestes són les vistes des de Coronado. El cel està vermell pels núvols, que reflexen la contaminació llumínica.

But, going back to the San Diego thread, after visiting some places in the city, we went to Coronado, which is a "kind of" island that lays in front the pier and to which you can arrive through a bridge. Trying to go back home, though, we got lost and, when we realized, we were in a freeway towards Mexico and very few miles away from the border.. Luckily I'm in the world's easiest "u-turn doing" country, therefore I didn't find myself in the situation of getting to such customs without a passport (which was at home). These are the views from Coronado. The sky is red because of the clouds, that reflect the light pollution.

PS: This is the first post I actually translate. Fellow english readers, let me tell you that I can talk either in English or Catalan, but I panic translations. It's the perfect situation for mistakes, mistranslations and whatever kind of errors. So forgive me in case you find some of the latter :)
